    Yatsushiro Castle Ruins

This historic castle (or currently the Remains of Yatsushiro Castle) was once called "Furufumoto Castle" during the Mid Age, "Mugishima Castle" during the Adsuchi-Momoyama period, and "Yatsushiro Castle" during the Edo period.
This location was registered as a National Historic Site in 2014 as "the Remains of Yatsushiro Castle," combining both the remains from Furufumoto Castle and Mugishima Castle, respectively.
